Frequently Asked Questions:
- Do your slushies contain alcohol? No, all are alcohol free and suitable for adults and children.
- Do you supply the alcohol? It is illegal for a frozen cocktail machine operator to provide you with the alcohol unless you are a licensed venue or have a liquor licence. We will advise you which alcohol you need and the quantity for your frozen cocktail machine, however we cannot provide it.
- How long does it take to freeze? In most cases a twin bowl cocktail machine will take between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, however the time may vary depending on the temperature. The higher the temperature, the longer it will take for the slushie machine to freeze. On a very hot day it may take up to 2.5 hours to produce frozen slushies.
- How many drinks will I get from each slushie machine? Approximately 100 drinks if you are using a 200ml cup. If you add alcohol, you will get more.
- If the slushie runs out, can I add my own cordial or softdrink? No – this may damage the machines and will result in repair costs being passed on to the client. You can purchase additional slushie syrups to add, if required.
- Do I have to clean the slushie machine? No, we only ask that you fill it with clean drinkable water to avoid staining. We will clean and sanitise the machine upon collection.
